Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away's third week back on air in Australia saw newcomer Susie continue to make her mark, while Kieran did a runner from Summer Bay after an aggressive outburst.
Meanwhile, Christian was horrified to realise that Lewis was doubting his professionalism at the hospital.
Here are five big questions we've been left with after the latest Australian episodes.
1. Is Susie manipulating John?
Home and Away newcomer Susie McAllister has been a breath of fresh air since she joined Summer Bay, but some fans are starting to suspect that she has her own agenda as she continues to charm John.
In this week's episodes, Susie goaded John about how all of his hard work at the Surf Club was being underappreciated by grumpy Alf. Before long, Susie had convinced John to challenge Alf at the next election for Surf Club president – and took full control of his campaign.
It was clear to most that John wouldn't have even considered the position without Susie's influence, but does she have an ulterior motive for disrupting the status quo in the Bay?
2. Will Kieran be back?
It certainly didn't take long for Kieran's true colours to be exposed. After trying to fool everyone that he was a reformed character, Kieran let his temper get the better of him when Roo and Alf figured out that he was drinking again.
The tension spilled over into a showdown at the Surf Club, where Kieran came close to attacking Alf before Justin intervened.
Alf and Roo made the difficult decision to report Kieran to the police, who revealed that an existing warrant was already out for his arrest. The officers weren't able to bring Kieran in for questioning, though, as he has already fled from the Bay.
Rick Donald, who plays Kieran, has done plenty of press interviews about his role in the show, so it seems unlikely that this is the last we'll see of him. But when will Kieran be back – and will Martha continue to blame her family for scaring him off?
3. How will Christian explain himself?
Christian has spent the past fortnight oblivious to the fact that newcomer Lewis holds a grudge against him over the past. Lewis blames his new colleague for the death of his partner Anna, as Christian was the surgeon who oversaw her emergency treatment following a terrible car accident.
In this week's episodes, Lewis let his emotions spill over when he insisted that Christian shouldn't be allowed to operate on a patient at the hospital as he'd been drinking. Christian insisted that he'd taken just a sip of alcohol at his engagement party, but it wasn't enough to talk Lewis around.
The workplace bust-up will surely now lead to the truth coming out over Lewis's vendetta. How will Christian explain himself when Lewis accuses him of negligence over Anna's death?
4. Is Ari losing interest in Mac?
Ari has been very distracted since his ex-partner Mia and stepdaughter Chloe arrived in Summer Bay. There has been lots for them to sort out, including how Mia lied to Chloe about the reasons for their estrangement from Ari over the years.
With emotions running so high, Ari asked his girlfriend Mackenzie to keep her distance for a few days while she sorts things out. Mackenzie reluctantly obliged, but was left at a loose end as she was cut out by the Paratas. Ari clearly isn't putting Mackenzie first right now, so is this a sign of trouble for their future as a couple?
5. Has Dean lost Ziggy forever?
Dean isn't letting go of his relationship with Ziggy easily. After many failed attempts to win Ziggy back, Dean was given false hope for their future when she shared a couple of awkward conversations with him.
What Dean didn't realise was that Ziggy was looking for the right moment to tell him that she's now with Tane. When Ziggy realised Dean was getting the wrong idea, she decided to be honest and tell him there was someone else.
Dean didn't take the news well, but when he saw Ziggy and Tane together the next day, he adopted a mature stance and chose not to make a scene.
Ethan Browne, who plays Tane, recently told Digital Spy that fans can expect a long-term future for his character and Ziggy. Sounds like bad news for Dean.
"Their connection is actually really deep. Tane thinks: 'This is it, she could be the one'. He's going to try his best and give it his all to really settle down and do his best to make it work," Ethan explained.
"Tane has never had a relationship like this before – it's always been one-night stands and what not! He feels that this is it."
