Jonathan Van Ness married his husband Mark Peacock at the end of 2020, in a quiet, socially distanced wedding.

Van Ness revealed the happy news in an Instagram post on 31 December and said that he had married his “best friend”.

He later added on Twitter: “Surprise! We got married in the backyard of a house we rented over the summer with a socially distanced judge and a photographer. Our parents watched over FaceTime.

“Love my Mark and we’re so happy to share this news.”

Mark Peacock, 35, is originally from the UK and was born in Brentwood, Essex. He attended Writtle University in Chelmsford, and later the University of Essex.

2. And he’s a cover star.

4. Things got seriously very quickly.

In November, Van Ness was heading on a mini-break with his family, and wanted to ask Peacock to come with them.

He said: “It a bit intense to ask Mark to come after a couple weeks worth’s of dates to come meet my mom and friends on a mini-break?

5. JVN and his new husband began married life during the coronavirus pandemic.

Following their socially distanced wedding, Jonathan Van Ness and Mark Peacock have also started their married life during the coronavirus pandemic, which means a lot of quality time.
