50 Couples of 50+ Years Renew Vows at Supermarket Valentine's Day Event

More than four dozen couples married for more than 50 years renewed their vows on Thursday, February 13, at a Stew Leonard’s supermarket in New Jersey.

Stew Leonard’s at the Paramus Park Mall invited couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day by remembering the promises they made to each other more than half a century ago.

The event also coincided with Stew Leonard’s 50th year in business, local media said.

Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera officiated the ceremony, where 100 seniors from around Bergen County donned boutonnieres or held bouquets.

This video, shared by Glenn Schuck, shows the toast at the conclusion of the event.
