Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian-pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

In this week's episodes of Home and Away in Australia, the dangerous feud between Lewis and Christian reached new heights.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie continued to struggle after her traumatic few weeks, and Willow left Summer Bay for a fresh start with Alex.

Here are six big questions we've been left with after the latest Australian episodes.

1. Will Lewis murder Christian?

After weeks of bickering and unexplained deaths at the hospital, Lewis's twisted feud with Christian is finally coming to a head.

Lewis was left disappointed when Christian was cleared over the latest death at Northern Districts. Christian also received a lenient punishment for punching Lewis in a recent row.

Despite advice from Jasmine that it was time to end the tensions, Lewis refused to listen and instead took things to the point of no return.

In a sinister cliffhanger which finished off the week, Lewis was seen dragging Christian's unconscious body through a disused ward at the hospital.

Still fuelled by vengeance and resentment over the fact that Christian couldn't save his wife Anna a couple of years ago, Lewis now seems ready to exact the ultimate revenge by killing him. Can anyone rescue Christian in time?

2. Is Justin becoming reliant on painkillers?

Justin is struggling badly with back pain and has been prescribed pills to help make life more comfortable. One particular scene this week may have hinted that this is Justin's next big storyline.

In the early hours of the morning, Justin struggled with his ongoing pain but knew that he wasn't due another pill for a while longer.

Despite this, Justin impulsively decided to take some more tablets anyway and was visibly relieved as the pain started to ease. But was this just a one-off, or the start of Justin ignoring doctor's orders by repeatedly self-medicating?

3. Does Mac need more support?

Mac has faced a heartbreaking time, as her ectopic pregnancy led to her losing the baby. Although Mac was planning to have a termination, she's still overwhelmed by feelings of grief and loss over the baby, as well as the recent breakdown of her relationship with Ari.

Mac finally received the support she'd been secretly longing for, after she suffered a worrying collapse at work and Ari came to see her at the hospital. Mia had made the difficult decision to tell Ari about Mac's loss, after he witnessed her being rushed off for emergency medical attention.

Mac felt comforted by Ari's presence in the moment, but was heartbroken when he then left with Mia, with the pair strong and united as a couple.

A concerned Tori gave Mac some counselling material to help with the emotional trauma, but Mac threw all of the information in the bin once she returned home.

With Mac clearly not in the right frame of mind to process her grief, could the worst still be to come?

4. Will Dean and Amber extend their family?

Dean was given food for thought this week when conversation between him and Amber turned to the topic of having another child. Assuming that Dean was freaking out, Amber later assured him that she wasn't being serious, but he questioned how she'd feel if that was what he actually wanted.

Amber shut the idea down by insisting that it wasn't the right time to try for another child – and it might never be in the future.

Dean pushed the issue and was pleased when Amber confirmed that she isn't totally ruling it out. Could Dean and Amber have a bigger family one day?

5. Are Willow and Alex back together for good?

Willow made a permanent departure from Summer Bay this week, heading off to reunite with her ex-girlfriend Alex. We didn't see Alex on screen again as part of this storyline, but it was still a welcome development for fans who shipped the pair when they were together in 2019 and 2020.

Sarah Roberts, who played Willow, was responsible for suggesting this storyline to Home and Away's producers before she left the show.

As Willow has several close friends still left in the Bay, we're hoping that future conversations between the likes of Dean, Amber, Bella and Irene can help to provide further closure for the 'Willex' army, with updates on what Willow and Alex are getting up to.

6. Will life ever be the same again for John?

Sneaky Susie may have fled from Summer Bay, but the repercussions from her terrible antics are continuing to affect many of the local residents.

This week, John decided to sell his home and use the proceeds to pay back Leah and Justin for the money that Susie scammed from them. The couple were grateful, but insisted that it wasn't necessary as they don't blame him for Susie's actions.

Even afterwards, John remained fixated on the idea of selling up, as the Palmer house now holds too many bad memories for him. Unless John has a rapid change of heart sometime soon, it seems that life may never be quite the same for him again.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
