6 huge Home and Away questions we have after this week's Australian episodes

From Digital Spy

Home and Away spoilers follow from this week's Australian-pace episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away aired four new episodes in Australia this week, as Jasmine Delaney returned to Summer Bay, and one of the show's most popular couples broke up.

Here are six big questions we've been left with after the latest episodes.

1. Will Tori forgive Jasmine?

What a difference a couple of weeks makes. Tori wanted nothing more to do with Jasmine earlier this month, filing for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) to keep her away from her and baby Grace for the foreseeable future. But is she already having second thoughts?

Tori was relieved this week when Colby and Irene went to seek out Jasmine at the Shaw family's farm, successfully encouraging her to come back home to the Bay.

Once Jasmine was back, she immediately crossed paths with Tori at the Diner. Tori suggested they should sit down to talk things through, recognising that it was best to address their problems sooner rather than later.

Tori understands that Jasmine's recent behaviour has been driven by her poor mental health and wants her to get back on an even keel again. But will she ever consider forgiving Jasmine and dropping the AVO?

2. Are John and Marilyn over for good?

There were sad scenes for a popular Summer Bay couple this week, as John and Marilyn realised there was no going back for their marriage. The pair have been on rocky ground for a while, but John finally seized control of the situation by telling Marilyn that she should move out.

John now has a new carer, Amber, and wants Marilyn to move on with her life rather than spending all of her time looking after him.

Irene had previously suggested that Marilyn could fall in love with John again if she didn't have to worry about the daily pressures of being his carer. For now, though, it seems that John and Marilyn will be living separate lives.

Have the Home and Away bosses decided to split up one of their longest-running couples, or could this be one of the many temporary break-ups to rock Summer Bay?

3. Will Bella expose Mackenzie's secret?

Mackenzie chose a troublesome confidante when she spoke to Bella about her frustrations with Tane. After hiring Tane to work at Salt, Mackenzie wasn't too pleased when he abandoned his first shift because he wanted to hook up with newcomer Amber.

Mackenzie's struggle to forgive Tane's bad behaviour aroused Bella's suspicions that she was motivated by jealousy, rather than anger over his lack of professionalism. Before long, perceptive Bella figured out that Mackenzie has feelings for Tane, even though she's with his brother Ari.

Bella warned Mackenzie not to mess the Parata family around, especially after everything they've already been through. The Summer Bay teen isn't always known for her tact and discretion, so is Mackenzie's secret really safe with Bella?

4. Has Tane turned his back on his criminal ways?

Tane seemed to be making a fresh start as he began work at Salt, allowing him to make an honest living rather than relying on criminal jobs to pay the rent. The Summer Bay bad boy used his natural charms to impress the customers, even though his efforts weren't overly appreciated by Mackenzie.

Tane seems to be making a genuine effort to turn his life around for the sake of his family, but let's face it, the Home and Away storyliners are fond of putting their leading male characters in a wide variety of dramatic situations each week. Could the pull of Tane's old lifestyle prove impossible for him to resist?

5. Have we seen the last of Cameron Daddo in the Bay?

Tragic news reached the Bay as Roo returned and broke the news to Ryder that his terminally-ill father had passed away. There were moving scenes as Ryder struggled to come to terms with the loss of his dad.

Although Evan has gone, posts on social media have revealed that Cameron Daddo – who played him – has been back on set at Home and Away more recently, sparking much speculation among fans.

Could Evan make a shock return? Will there be a dream sequence? Is this Home and Away's answer to Neighbours' Fake Dee storyline? Or was Cameron simply there for another reason? Your guess is as good as ours...

6. Will Roo be okay?

While everyone's focus is on Ryder's grief right now, it's clear that Roo has also been affected by Evan's death. She struck up a friendship with Evan during his brief time in Summer Bay and was there by his side when he passed away.

Although Roo has selflessly focused her efforts on Ryder, we can't help but wonder who's going to be there for her after the upset of recent weeks. Will she be able to cope?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
