US Military Equipment Arrives in Poland for NATO Operation

Military equipment that will be used by US soldiers to assist NATO troops as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve arrived in Gdansk, Poland, on March 28.

This footage shows the offloading process in Gdansk’s port. The 497th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, a group comprised of US active duty, Army Reserve and Army National Guard soldiers, will use the 644 vehicles and containers to assist European troops across the Baltic Region, a US Army press release revealed.

In recent months, US soldiers have also provided training for NATO troops in Estonia, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania as part of the Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing military effort designed to serve as a bulwark against Russia following its annexation of Crimea in 2014.
