While Denise Austin may be best known for sharing inspirational #FitOver50 workout videos, we love it when she takes a trip down memory lane with throwback photos reminiscing on her decades-long career. The fitness star recently dropped another side-by-side “then and now” throwback picture from the ’90s, this time showing off toned abs while wearing a pink crop top and color-coordinating underwear.

I love sharing these so much…Not just because I love to reminisce and look back at my career but because I love to encourage you all!!!” she captioned her Instagram post. “A little daily movement, nourishment for your body, and gratitude really pays off…I live it and truly believe it!! Fans loved reminiscing with Austin. “Beautiful. Then, now, and always! ❤️” one fan wrote. “Couldn’t tell which was then vs now! 🔥🙌🏼💪🏼💞#inspiration #reverseaging,” another chimed in. “So glad to have closely followed lovely Denise for over 30 years. She has aged so gracefully 😘” another added.

While some fans have a hard time believing it, Austin did just celebrate her 67th birthday. “Today is my BIRTHDAY and I’m feeling so GRATEFUL to be celebrating another year filled with so many incredible memories!!!” she captioned her celebratory post on Instagram. “I’m healthy…happy…and feeling so much love!!! I am blessed with a wonderful husband, two great daughters, and a career that I get to continue doing what I love each and every day!!”

It’s true: “Waking up feeling grateful” is one of Austin’s top wellness tips, helping her stay motivated, she told Prevention in the past. “I do honestly think that I stay positive mainly because I am really grateful for life. I really feel blessed and fortunate so that helps me,” she continued.

Of course, exercise is another one of Austin’s tips for maintaining her health and wellness—as seen in her signature, upbeat workout videos on Instagram (like her three easy workout moves for women over 50 or easy fat-burning cardio moves videos). Her advice? “You’re never too old to start. Don’t give up,” she said when speaking with us. “Because your body can change and be healthier. You can do [it] step by step—little things.”
