Holby City spoilers follow.

Next week on Holby City, Ollie finds his sinister past catching up with him, while Eli and Amelia's lives are changed forever, and Jeong feels isolated by his colleagues.

Here's a full collection of the seven biggest moments coming up:

1. Ollie's past catches up with him

Ollie is shocked to see a blast from his shady past on AAU in the form of new locum Maisie.

It quickly becomes clear that Maisie and Ollie have an awkward personal history together, and the shocks don't stop there.

Palpably uncomfortable to be working with Ollie, Maisie confronts him about their night together – and the trauma she's suffered as a result.

Maisie explains that Ollie has left her feeling permanently fearful after he hit her while she was asleep, shining a completely different light on what he believed had gone wrong between them. Will this revelation recast our understanding of what's really going on with Ollie?

2. Amelia gets devastating news

Holby City will kick off a devastating new chapter for Eli and his wife Amelia next week, as they receive life-changing news.

Unable to ignore the worrying symptoms she's been experiencing of late, Amelia turns up at the hospital to see Jac – explaining that she believes her brain tumour has returned.

Sadly, Amelia's suspicions are soon proved to be correct, but further heartbreak awaits when Max confirms that the tumour is a lot more advanced this time.

As a devastated Amelia questions her prognosis and treatment options, she's left torn over what to tell Eli – who is preparing for one of the biggest procedures of his career.

3. Kylie and Max have another misunderstanding

They may have put their recent fallout behind them, but there's more tension between Kylie and Max next week.

Kylie is furious when she learns that the hospital are interviewing for Lucky's role, but haven't even told her yet. Kylie goes in all guns blazing to confront Max, only to find that she isn't supportive of the decision, either.

When Max goes on to learn about Kylie and Louis' dire financial situation, she advises them to look into moving back home. However, Kylie misunderstands the situation entirely and believes Max is offering them both a place to stay...

4. Jeong feels isolated

Jeong feels like he’s treading water while the lives of his friends rush on. Despite his becoming an F2 doctor, no one seems interested in celebrating with Jeong, leaving him feeling more lonely than ever.

Jeong is then left feeling further isolated when he realises that Louis and Kylie are thinking of moving out of the flat share, but haven't told him.

At the end of a disheartening shift, Jeong is disappointed to turn up to his celebratory drinks alone, but can anyone save the day?

5. Eli's world comes crashing down

All eyes are on Eli as he prepares for the life-changing surgery on palliative patient Sammy. Unfortunately, crossed wires soon alert him to Amelia's situation – but he's left hopeful that she's at the hospital for an ultrasound following their latest round of IVF.

Eli is excited as he approaches Amelia, but his world soon comes crashing down when he sees her brain scan.

Devastated, Eli begs Amelia not to give up on life just yet and makes her promise to fight this with all she has, but what does the future hold for the couple?

6. Ollie's secret is revealed

Following his showdown with Maisie, Ollie's day goes from bad to worse when the police turn up. Maisie has called them to report Ollie's earlier attack on her, but to her surprise, he corroborates her accusation and willingly gives a statement.

Ollie later explains to Maisie that, while he doesn't remember harming her, he has been experiencing blackouts and therefore doesn't doubt her version of events.

Maisie urges Ollie to get help before someone else gets hurt, but will this prompt him to finally tell Hanssen that he isn't actually fit to work?

7. Josh continues to struggle

Josh is still suffering in silence over his bulimia relapse next week, but has taken Eli's advice and spoken to his GP.

Eli is frustrated when he hears that he could have to wait months for therapy and is quickly falling back into worrying habits again.

He is given a boost when Eli reveals that he has qualified to be an F2, like Jeong, but how will he handle the additional pressure this will bring?

Holby City airs these scenes on Tuesday, November 9 at 7.50pm on BBC One.
