Holby City spoilers.
Next week on Holby City, Sacha's relationship with Jodie raises eyebrows, while Cameron devastates Nicky and Jac treats an old friend.
Here's a full collection of the seven biggest moments to look out for:
1. Sacha's new relationship is exposed
It's a few months later in Holbyland next week, and we're now back in real time. Hooray. This does mean, however, that some situations have intensified in the missing weeks on screen, namely Sacha – and his highly controversial romance with newcomer Jodie.
With everyone reeling from the loss of Essie, Keller is turned upside down Jodie turns up for the first day of her new job and wastes no time in revealing her connection to Sacha.
As Sacha's lies are exposed, there is a further concern that he could take his grief out on a vulnerable patient.
2. Jac helps an old friend
When Jac rushes in a mystery patient, Kian becomes increasingly unnerved by their connection. After being questioned by Kian, Jac explains that Clayton is a friend from her time in the psychiatric unit last year.
When Clayton's medical crisis deepens, Jac goes out on a limb to help him – leaving Kian out in the cold. What will this mean for their own hush-hush relationship?
3. Cameron revels in his new fame
Covid hero Cameron glories in his new-found adulation, which has seen him feature in a high-brow medical magazine.
Cameron laps up the attention as patients (and junior doctors) quite literally fall at his feet, but the attention he's receiving begins to unnerve his secret squeeze Nicky – who is fed up of having to hide their relationship.
4. Nicky is left devastated
After months of sneaking around, Nicky is keen for her and Cameron to go public – uncomfortable with all the secrets and lies. Cameron, on the other hand, has his eyes elsewhere, having spied an opportunity to rekindle things with Chloe – who is the true object of his affections.
When an oblivious Chloe agrees to join him for a drink, Cameron wastes no time in calling it off with a hurt Nicky. But will she realise what's really going on?
5. Sacha is urged to see sense
When word of Sacha's new relationship reaches Jac, she takes an upfront approach to the situation and pulls him into her office. Never backwards at coming forwards, Jac tells Sacha that she's appalled at this behaviour and demands to know who Jodie is – and how long he's been seeing her.
When Sacha retaliates by calling out Jac's own personal shortcomings, Donna attempts a softer approach and reminds Sacha that they are in the same position. Donna extends her help by urging Sacha to join her at a bereavement group, but will he accept her support ?
6. Hanssen drops a bombshell
As the wave of new juniors continue to settle into the hospital, they are shown the ropes by straight-talking Hanssen.
Although Josh, Skylar and Jeong are all keen to impress (some more than others), they get a shock when Hanssen informs them that there's only one full-time position available at the end of their placement – meaning the competition is well and truly on. Who will triumph?
7. Max takes matters into her own hands
Determined to get on top of the hospital's staffing problems, CEO Max attempts to take matters into her own hands next week.
Knowing they can't afford to carry on like this, Max is left further irritated by the insouciant attitude of the board – and their proposed solution.
Later, Max takes matters into her own hands and makes a bold move – but will she be forced to pay the price?
Holby City airs these scenes on Tuesday, November 17 at 7.50pm on BBC One.
