Holby City spoilers follow.
Next week on Holby City, Bernie has answers for Cameron but things quickly take a sinister turn, while Lucky finally learns the truth about Jeni and Ange fights for her life.
Here's a full collection of the seven biggest moments to watch out for:
1. Cameron and Bernie come face to face
As Cameron reels from the return of a ghost from his past, he finally gets a chance to speak to Bernie when he comes round from his accident.
Because Holby obviously wasn't going to park Cameron's story at this stage in the game, he's very much front and centre of next week's game-changing episode – and he's got some rather important questions for his mum.
Bernie is acutely aware she's got quite some explaining to do as she heads in to see a groggy Cameron, but what she says next leaves him utterly broken...
2. Bernie makes a shocking admission
We wanted answers regarding Bernie's bizarre fate and we're about to get them – and then some.
In a chilling heart to heart, Bernie tells Cameron that she was captured and held hostage while in action, which led to the grisly findings that seemingly confirmed her demise.
However, when questioned by Cameron on how long she has been back for, a sheepish Bernie is forced to admit that she's been free for over a year.
Worse still (well, not necessarily if you're a Berena fan), Bernie tells Cameron that she's been living with Serena in Spain ever since, but couldn't bring himself to make contact with him.
3. Fletch fears for his future
Fletch is full of nerves as the team prepare to bring Rich round from his coma next week.
Aware that Rich holds the key to his fate, Fletch addresses his fears over his future with a devious Jeni.
Spotting another chance to manipulate the situation, Jeni suggests that she move in to Fletch's family home, in the event of him being sent to prison. Fletch agrees and shares the news to Evie, who is unable to hide her horror.
4. Cameron reveals his sinister plan
Devastated following Bernie's admission, Cameron coldly admits that he doesn't intend to go back to prison – he's going to die instead.
Bernie's blood runs cold as she endeavours to crack Cameron's overt code, but she's shaken to the core when he reveals he's planted a bomb on the premises, and it's about to go off. Can Hanssen evacuate the hospital in time?
5. Lucky makes a major discovery
Lucky is hot on the heels of Jeni's suspicious behaviour, and is getting close to uncovering the truth.
She feels vindicated when she finds some new evidence against Jeni, and realises that Evie knows more than she's letting on as well. But is she barking up the wrong tree?
6. Evie exposes Jeni
With Lucky getting closer to the truth, Evie is palpably relieved – believing that a weight is about to be taken off her shoulders. However, Lucky pushes Evie for answers, it quickly becomes clear that Lucky has got the wrong end of the stick entirely.
Lucky believes that Jeni has been stealing money from the hospital, and wants Evie's help in exposing her. Deflated, Evie refrains from explaining the full truth, but instead directs Lucky in the direction of Jeni's incriminating drawer.
As a result, Lucky finally realises what has been going on, but how far will Jeni go to protect her secret?
7. Josh is left distraught over Ange
Next week will also see Ange prepare for a life saving transfusion on one of her unborn babies, who isn't growing properly.
Josh and Chloe do their best to allay her fears, but they are left panic-stricken when the procedure goes badly wrong and Ange is left fighting for her life. Josh is forced to watch on helplessly as the team fight to save Ange, but will she and the babies be okay?
Holby City airs these scenes on Tuesday, September 7 at 7.50pm on BBC One.
