If you thought it was just dramas and sitcoms that saw characters flit between shows, think again. Sometimes, reality stars also jump from one reality universe to the next.

We're not including stars who have just gone from an unscripted show to a reality show – the stars here have gone from one series to become regulars on another.

1. Stephanie Pratt swaps Beverly Hills for Chelsea

The glossy LA blonde was best known as the conniving Spencer Pratt's kid sister in The Hills. But a few years later, she turned up clip-clopping her way through Chelsea where first she dated Spencer Matthews (an old mate of her big bro's) before making her way through many of the male cast of SW10. Meanwhile, her romantic life was a reality crossover too. Not only did she 'date' ex-TOWIE starJoey Essex after meeting on Celebs Go Dating, she also had a short-lived fling with monotone Jonny Mitchell from Love Island.

2. Toff lunches with her jungle pal Stanley

When Made In Chelsea's Toff headed to the jungle on I'm A Celeb, she managed to charm the nation so much with her kooky ways and endearing friendship with Boris Johnson's dad Stanley, that they voted for her to win in droves.

Once out of the jungle, the MIC producers announced her return to Chelsea with a trailer that saw her castmates dropped into a jungle setting, watching her stomp through the 'bush'. But once the series got underway, viewers were stunned when she was visited several times by her old mate Stanley for lunches and tea.

3. Essex boy Ricky goes north to the Toon

We all know Ricky Rayment best as the impossibly groomed Essex lad who dated Jess Wright on TOWIE. However, away from Sugar Hut and those satsuma-tans, Ricky started dating TV reality rival Marnie Simpson.

It wasn't long before he was pounding the streets of the Toon on Geordie Shore on series 11 and slipping to one knee to pop the question. Marnie said yes, but the relationship didn't last all that long.

Marnie would later do more reality crossovers in her romantic life when she started dating TOWIE's Lewis Bloor when they met and he flashed his wares on Celebrity Big Brother.

4) Sam jumps on a Ferry after Love Island

Sam Gowland made his name on series four of Love Island where he tried his luck with Olivia Attwood before enjoying a short-lived post show fling with Georgia Harrison. However, a few months later the cheeky chappy rocked up in Geordie Shore, where it didn't take him long to start romancing Chloe Ferry.

5) Jon Clark leaves Love Island for TOWIE

On Love Island, Jon Clark made us laugh with his cheeky Essex-boy banter and his relationship with blonde-bombshell fiancée Hannah Elizabeth. After his appearance in the villa, he headed to TOWIE where he hung out with his brother and dated Lauren Pope for a bit.

But in real life, his romantic life has been a bit of reality-crossover extravaganza. Before Love Island he had a fling with TOWIE's Jasmin Walia. He dated Love Island series three's Chloe Crowhurst when she entered Love Island (apparently she didn't even ditch him to appear on it). To top it all off, he also had a fling with Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry! Phew.

6) Love Island's Nathan and Cara set up home in TOWIE

The incredibly cute and quirky Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde were the rightful winners of the second series of Love Island, having charmed viewers with their hilarious bants. And ITV bosses were fast to jump on their popularity by flying the couple home back to Blighty and sticking them in TOWIE for a season or two.

After some time out the pair recently returned to TOWIE to show off their new baby Freddie George.

7) Megamouth Megan swaps the beach for the Sugar Hut

This is a complicated one. In 2016 Geordie Shore's Scotty T swapped Newcastle for Ex On The Beach where he met the ferocious Megan McKenna, who had appeared in a previous series of the sun, sand and sex-a-thon.

Then, at the same time, the pair appeared on Celebrity Big Brother which – coincidentally – was owned by the same network. Although Scotty went on to win CBB, Megan McKenna caught the eye of TOWIE producers who swiftly snapped her up for the series, where she went on to date and screech at Pete Wicks.
