Here's a full collection of the storylines you can look forward to.

Luke continues to hide his health concerns from Cindy, leaving her feeling rejected when he rushes off without revealing where he's going.

Cindy looks at Luke's laptop for answers, but is stopped in her tracks when Joel confiscates the computer and refuses to give it back unless she helps at his soup kitchen.

Cindy reluctantly agrees but infuriates fellow helper Goldie by insulting her engagement ring. The ladies fight and the ensuing commotion sees the laptop pushed into the river.

Later, Cindy's suspicions grow when she spots Luke talking to Misbah outside the hospital. Will she realise that his health has become a cause for concern?

2. Maxine and Damon both return

As Damon is released from prison, his homecoming coincides with the reappearance of Maxine after her trip to the US.

As Maxine sets eyes on Damon again, she's unsettled to see Liberty flirting with him and fears that she could have lost her husband for good. Maxine's fears seem well-founded as Liberty later kisses Damon at the pub.

When Maxine gets her chance to see Damon, she hands him a letter which apologises for everything she put him through when she pretended to be dying. Maxine later borrows Peri's make-up to look her best for Damon when she meets up with him.

Unfortunately for Maxine, a reunion is the last thing on a furious Damon's mind as he's just discovered that she has continued to lie about symptoms while she's been in America. Has Maxine blown her final chance?

3. Sid reveals a sad secret

Having refused help from the Lomaxes after the death of his father Stuart, lonely Sid confides in Juliet by revealing that he's sleeping rough. Juliet tips off Sienna, who becomes determined to help Sid.

Sienna's first idea is to meet up with Stuart's wife Alice, hoping that she'll take on responsibility for the teenager. However, when a worrying discovery is made over Sid, it could deter Alice from getting involved again.

Later in the week, Sid and Sienna bond over people they have lost. Could the unlikely duo be a winning match?

Fans will be introduced to two new faces next week as Toby and Celeste Faroe move in to the village.

The couple, played by Bobby Gordon and Andrea Ali, will strike up a friendship with Darren and Mandy, after moving into Mitchell and Cleo's old flat.

Darren and Mandy are in in awe of the pair's glamour, but it quickly becomes clear that all is not as it seems with the mysterious newcomers.

As they spend time with their new friends, Toby and Celeste are soon showing their manipulative side as they begin playing some very vindictive games with their neighbours....

Sylver's family are putting him under pressure to spend time with Mercedes, who's still in a coma after the shooting. Sylver isn't keen on the idea and enjoys spending time with his new lover Grace instead.

When Mercedes has a seizure at the hospital, Goldie tries to get in touch with Sylver, but Grace rejects all of her calls and even deletes a voicemail. Sylver catches her and Grace admits that she's scared of losing him.

Sylver reassures Grace that he doesn't have feelings for Mercedes anymore, leaving her optimistic about the future.

However, when Breda catches the new pairing in a compromising position, she warns Sylver to choose between Grace and the McQueens. Later, Sylver tells Grace that he chooses her, but is this what he really wants?

Cleo may be gone, but Mitchell and Scott still seem awkward whenever they're with each other around other people. Scott also reckons they should move in together and Mitchell agrees, even though he hasn't yet told his family about his sexuality.

Mitchell continues to hide his relationship with Scott in front of his mum Martine, instead letting her believe that he has a new girlfriend.

Wanting to put the brakes on, Mitchell lies to Scott by claiming that the landlord put the rent up at the place they were looking at. Mitchell 'explains' that he can't afford it anymore, but Scott isn't giving up so easily and thinks they should fight for their home.
