Next week on Neighbours, father and son continue to have problems, someone hears a devastating truth, and one Ramsay Street resident may be spiralling out of control!
Here are 9 storylines from the week to look forward to.
1. Scarlett continues her plan to win Ned
After getting a job with Ned, and then moving into the house across the road from him, Scarlett gives more of an indication this week that she really does prove to be a threat.
Sneaking into the Willis house and hiding in the laundry room, she silently watches an unsuspecting Ned while he does the dishes.
Having already befriended Yashvi in an attempt to eventually stir up more trouble, it’s clear that nothing is going to stop this new face from getting the man she wants.
2. Pierce continues to struggle with Hendrix
The frosty relationship between father and son shows no sign of improving any time soon and Pierce is at a loss for what to do. To bond with Hendrix, Pierce takes him to play golf and buys him an expensive set of clubs in the process.
The day seems to go well until Hendrix asks if he can jet off on a holiday. Pierce tries to go into father mode, but it backfires, and his son lashes out by throwing the new clubs into Lassiters lake. With both sides making mistakes, will the two ever see eye to eye?
3. Sheila’s birthday party gets out of hand
After learning that Sheila is still down about Clive and that it’s her birthday, Roxy takes it upon herself to throw a party at Number 22 the birthday girl will never forget.
But when Hendrix finds out about it, after another run-in with Harlow, he posts an open invitation online and before anyone knows it, the house is overrun with strangers.
While the adults try to control the situation, Harlow voices her disgust that Hendrix would pull such a move on people he barely even knows.
4. Mark and Roxy’s secret is out
With the party at Number 22 in full swing, and the invited guests concerned about the unexpected arrivals, one partygoer is more interested in having the time of her life; Roxy. She welcomes everyone in and has no concerns about how the night is unfolding.
Unfortunately for her, someone else is concerned and it isn’t long before the police are called. Mark happens to be on duty and arrives to clear everyone out.
A very drunk Roxy though uses the moment to jump into his arms and kiss him – in front of everyone else at the house.
5. Mark lets loose
After calling time on his fling with Roxy, Mark finds himself feeling lonely and takes to alcohol to give him a distraction. The drink only leads him back to Roxy, though, who lets him back in despite his drunkenness (after she makes him apologise).
Aaron and Chloe, however, aren’t pleased to hear about this reconciliation. Concerned that their brother is spiralling out of control, they make their feelings known, but it has no effect – Mark is determined to keep seeing Roxy.
6. Shaun helps him to mend some rifts – but what is he hiding?
Shaun returns to Erinsborough early and almost immediately sets about trying to fix the ongoing feud between Finn, David and Aaron. He’s heard about the argument through Elly and makes it clear to Finn that he overstepped. The two do reconcile, though, and Shaun suggests the four of them go to a baby-swaddling class.
It has the desired effect and a truce is found between them. Later though, David’s suspicions of Shaun are piqued when he overhears him on the phone talking about Elly. He is also quick to cover up some documents. What is Shaun up to?
7. Has Mackenzie found romance?
During the house party for Sheila, Mackenzie enjoys a little flirting with Hendrix, but her anxiety kicks in when she thinks about the conversation she needs to have with any guy she gets close to. She confides in Shane her worries and he encourages her to do what feels right to her in the moment.
The conversation leads to her being immediately honest with Hendrix about being transgender. Hendrix though, after some initial shock, takes the news in his stride and tells her she remains the hottest girl at the party. Encouraged by his response, Mackenzie leans in for a kiss.
8. Mackenzie learns the truth about Shane
The search for Mackenzie’s father continues, and Shane thinks he may have had a breakthrough. But, when faced the possibility of seeing Grant again, Mackenzie reveals how badly she was treated and that he burnt all her feminine belongings. The story shocks Shane, even more so because he knows that he was partly to blame.
Dipi convinces him that it’s time he told the truth, and he finally sits Mackenzie down to tell her everything. She doesn’t take it well and is shattered that someone she trusts so much was key to one of the most painful experiences of her life. Can Shane ever make things right with her?
9. Sheila receives some heartbreaking news
Gary can’t help but notice how down Sheila is about her break up with Clive, especially after she was so sure that he would come to her party.
He takes it upon himself to go and see Clive himself to try and persuade him to give things another shot. He tells him that when it comes to family, she will do anything to protect them. He agrees to go and see her, and Gary is confident he has done the right thing.
However, when Clive and Sheila come face to face, he has some news that she won’t want to hear… He has already started seeing someone else.
