Following Susan's meltdown upon her return to work, she turned to Jane for guidance and help with an education board visit – and next week sees her continue to lean on her friend for support. As Susan continues to doubt her own abilities to handle stressful situations, she continues to pass off jobs to Jane and to check what she would do.

Things come to a head when an angry mother arrives at the school demanding to see the principal and Susan asks Jane to handle it for her while making a quick escape. Will Susan's lack of confidence end up putting her job on the line?

2. Shane is in a dark place

While it looks as if the drug scandal is over following Yashvi's arrest of Ollie, little does she know that the problem continues and for Yashvi, it's very close to home. Shane, who's been struggling with his studies, is secretly taking the same drugs, and Roxy cottons on when she sees him struggling with withdrawals.

As Dipi books him a room at the hotel so he can switch off and relax, Shane's withdrawals kick in and dropping the drugs is not easy. With the pressure mounting on Shane, will he realise he needs to lean on his wife for support?

3. Things remain frosty at the Canning house

While this week sees Levi return home after moving out in the wake of his fallout with Sheila, things remain frosty. Sheila finds herself walking on eggshells and does all she can to stay out of his way, whilst being overly nice in the process.

For Levi, this only serves to make him feel more uncomfortable, and he begins to feel as though he can't relax at home. Kyle, who is stuck in the middle, tries his best to make things feel natural – but it seems there's a lot more work to do before Sheila and Levi get back to normal.

4. Paul and Harlow are at odds

After Harlow and Mackenzie show Paul what they have come up with as a way for Lassiters to be a more eco-friendly business, he's concerned about responding as, from his point of view, the changes the girls want to implement aren't good for the business.

Harlow arranges to shadow Paul for the day after he tells them his thoughts and it's not long before the pair find themselves at loggerheads, with Terese having to step in. Will they find a way to help the environment and to ensure that Lassiters keeps making money?

5. Chloe has a surprising request

Chloe returns from Adelaide, and Pierce is keen to check she is okay after seeing how much her mother Fay has deteriorated. Chloe, however, feels more inspired to help than ever and when she tells Pierce how much pressure her siblings are under caring for Fay, she reveals that she wants Fay to come and stay with them so she can give them all a break.

Later in the week, she confides in Nicolette about everything that's going on, and it leads to Pierce suggesting she could be a live-in nurse to help. But will Nicolette's feelings for Chloe just lead to more problems at Number 24?

6. Brent crosses the line

Brent has been nothing but trouble since he arrived, with Aaron and David growing increasingly concerned about how much of a bad influence he is. Their worries prove to be well-founded next week when, after an argument over the mess he's left around the house, he lashes out and starts to trash number 32, with Aaron taking a blow to the face in the process.

The violence only proves David and Aaron's point and they tell him he cannot stay with them any longer, much to Emmett's disappointment. But there is another member of the family about to make an appearance…

7. Jenna makes waves in Erinsborough

Just when things are at their worst, Emmett and Brent's mother, Jenna, arrives. Thanks to Brent, she has already made up her mind about how unsuitable Aaron and David are to be foster parents.

Despite turning up unannounced, Jenna barges her way inside and throws her weight around, insisting she will get Emmett back. Hearing he's been suspended, she heads straight to the school and demands a meeting. But worse is yet to come when Paul Robinson gets involved…

8. There's a protest brewing

Not to be deterred by how much Paul is against the changes at Lassiters, Harlow and Mackenzie, with a little help from Hendrix, plan a protest. At Erinsborough High, Mackenzie approaches Susan about helping to rally up more students. But with Susan not wanting to open herself up to any more stress, she shuts the idea down, leaving the girls deflated.

With the environment firmly on their minds, will Harlow and Mackenzie find a way to make Paul see their point?

9. Paul crosses yet another line

Paul, typically using his wealth to "help" his family, wastes no time in offering Jenna a large sum of money to stay away. Aaron and David are furious, while Emmett is disappointed to learn that she took it, despite getting drunk and having a change of heart.

Second in line after David, Terese vents her fury to Paul for handing an alcoholic a wad of cash and later, when she bumps into Jenna at the community centre, she invites her to an AA meeting. Paul is shocked, but that's nothing compared to how he reacts when he hears Terese has offered Jenna a job…
