'90’s fashion has already resurfaced as has music and even furniture (hello, formerly beloved bubble chairs) but now, names from the decade are making a comeback too.

While the likes of Atticus, Edie, Felix and Iris have dominated recent years, it seems people are ready to move away from the traditional, old-fashioned names and move back towards the American, straight-out-of-Sweet-Valley-High ilk of monikers for their bundles of joy.

According to the parent site, babycentre, you can expect the likes of Courtney, Kimberley, Bethany and Molly to be popular over the next year when it comes to girls.

For boys, Christian, Toby, Ryan and Bradley are tipped to be in the top 20 most popular names.

The website says, “While these names may sound over-familiar and even old-fashioned to us 80s and 90s kids, they’ll be a breath of fresh air among all the Ivy’s and Noah’s at nursery and playgroup”.
