Man dropkicks tent with two homeless people inside while laughing friends filmed on phone

This is the shocking moment a man dropkicked a tent with two homeless people inside while his friends laughed and filmed the incident on a smartphone.

Humberside Police released CCTV of the attack, which took place on Whitefriargate in Hull on Friday 30 November at about 12.30am.

They are trying to identify the group of three men – one of whom jumped into the tent feet first while the other two watched. One of the men filmed the incident on his phone.

There were two homeless men inside the tent at the time, but they were both left unhurt.

In the CCTV footage, the three men stop along a street, before one of them prepares to take a run at the tent, which was underneath a shop front.

One of the men takes out his phone to film the incident.

The man then runs at the tent and lands a dropkick on those inside, before running off with his friends, laughing.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Do you recognise these men in this CCTV footage?

“We want to identify them in connection with the incident on Whitefriargate in Hull that happened on Friday 30 November around 12.30am.

“One of the men filmed the incident on his phone.

“Two homeless men who were inside the tent were unhurt.

“Do you know who they are? Can you help us to identify them?”

The trio were walking along Whitefriargate towards Silver Street when the incident took place.
