The A120 was set to be shut overnight this week for roadworks but has since been cancelled due to cold weather. The A120 at the Crown Interchange to Little Bentley roundabout was set to be shut from this evening (November 19) to Friday (November 22).

This is due to cold weather being forecasted with the low temperatures "preventing National Highways from pouring and curing concrete to the required quality standards." The weather is being monitored by the agency and they confirmed that the roadworks will be rescheduled "at the earliest opportunity once conditions allow."

A spokesperson for National Highways said: "We regret to inform you that scheduled night closures on the A120 Crown Interchange to Little Bentley roundabout planned for Tuesday 19 November through to Friday 22 November will be cancelled.

"This decision has been made due to the anticipated cold weather, with the low temperatures preventing us from pouring and curing concrete to the required quality standards. We are closely monitoring weather conditions and will reschedule the affected activities at the earliest opportunity once conditions allow."
