A174 road closure for five nights for 'refresh works' and cats' eyes replacement
The A174 will be closed for five nights for 'refresh works' and cats' eyes replacement.
The dual carriageway will be shut to westbound traffic from Greystones Roundabout from Monday, 13 January, for five nights from 8pm to 6am weekdays, for what council chiefs have described as "essential lining refresh works and the replacement of cats' eyes."
Drivers travelling westbound from A174 Lazenby Bypass or south down A1053 Greystones Road would be required to follow the diversion, with signage being implemented.

Diverted traffic will re-enter the A174 Parkway at A172 interchange off Stokesley Road, Marton. Eastbound traffic will not be affected.
A spokesperson for Redcar and Cleveland Council said: "The closures have been planned to take place overnight, when traffic flows are lower, in order to keep disruption to drivers to a minimum."
