A road near Hampton has reopened more than 11 hours after it closed due to a crash. The A308 Staines Road East was shut following the collision last night (June 8) involving a car and a motorbike.

Officers were called to the scene at around 11pm. The road remained closed, between the Kenton Avenue and Percy Road junctions, until 10.30am today while crash scene investigators carried out their work.

Surrey Police is now asking the public for help. In an appeal for witnesses, the force said: "If you have any information, dashcam footage, or helmet-cam footage, please contact us quoting PR/0801 of 8 June via Messenger."
