A55 emergency repairs due to burst water pipe in Conwy
Traffic Wales says 'emergency work' will take place on the A55 after a water pipe burst. Large areas of Conwy county have been left without water for days due to a burst mains at Bryn Cowlyd treatment works at Dolgarrog on Wednesday.
The repair was completed on Friday but the work to refill the vast network takes days - with some homes not due to get running water back until Monday. Dwr Cymru had warned that as the system refills there could be further bursts in the network.
There have already been issues in Llandudno and Deganwy. Now Traffic Wales is reporting a pipe burst by the A55. AA traffic and travel is reporting a lane has been closed westbound Conwy and Penmaenmawr.

Traffic Wales said the repair will start this evening.
Traffic Wales said: "Emergency Works. A55 westbound J17 Conwy Morfa (Including on slip) - Penmaenbach Tunnel. Emergency works for the repair of a burst water pipe
"Lane 1 - Closure in place. Diversion in place for J17 Conwy Morfa on slip."
Work will start at 7pm this evening and is expected to be completed by 6am on Monday morning.
