A59 crash near McDonald's involving motorbike sparks police appeal
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a crash on the A59 involving a motorbike.
Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the road at around 8am today (September 14). The incident happened between the roundabout at the junction with Accrington Road A671 and the roundabout at McDonald's.
Officers said the motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Clitheroe when it happened. No further details have been released about injuries or if any other vehicles were involved.

In a post on X, Lancs Road Police said: "Witnesses are sought following an RTC involving a motorcycle on the A59, this morning Saturday 14th September at approximately 0800hrs between the roundabout at the junction with Accrington Road A671 and the roundabout at McDonald's in the general direction of Clitheroe."
