A720 Edinburgh City Bypass drivers warned after 'incident' sparks huge tailbacks
Edinburgh bypass drivers have been issued a warning after an incident on Tuesday afternoon.
One lane is currently restricted on the A720 near Sheriffhall causing traffic to build up in the area around 3pm.
Images from traffic cameras show queues of vehicles after a broken-down HGV was reported causing lane two to be blocked.

It is understood police are at the scene, as well as vehicle recovery. Traffic Scotland have urged drivers to 'approach with caution'.
Traffic Scotland wrote on X, formally known as Twitter: "#A720 - Millerhill to Sherifhall (WB)
"Lane 2 (of 2) RESTRICTED due to a HGV breakdown. Road users are advised to approach with caution."
