A720: Edinburgh drivers issued warning as rush hour 'incident' triggers tailback queues
Edinburgh drivers have been issued a warning after a rush hour incident caused traffic to tailback on a major road.
The Edinburgh city bypass is restricted westbound at Lothianburn junction and motorists have been warned of lengthy delays.
Lane two westbound at the Lothianburn junction is currently restricted due to a breakdown.

Traffic Scotland has warned drivers of a 30 minute delay during rush hour on the A720. Images from live traffic cameras show massive queues up through Straiton on the bypass.
At 6.04pm, on their website they add: "The A720 is currently restricted westbound at the Lothianburn junction due to a broken down vehicle . Lane 2 (of 2) is currently restricted. Motorists are advised to use caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey."
