A9 Ballinluig diversions following four-vehicle crash

Police are warning motorists to avoid the A9 near Ballinluig due to a four-vehicle crash

The A9 in the vicinity is closed following the crash which was reported around 8.15am.

Diversions north and south are in place.

Police Scotland are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

The northbound diversion is via the A822 at Dunkeld, then the A826 and A827 before re-joining the A9 north of Ballinluig.

The southbound diversion is on the A924 to Bridge of Cally, A93 to Blairgowrie and then A923 to Dunkeld before re-joining the A9.
