Aaron Paul reveals he asked Bryan Cranston to be his newborn son's godfather

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday, Aaron Paul arrived surprisingly rested being that he has a new infant son, but only because he got some sleep on the plane. Paul’s wife Lauren first announced in an Instagram post in December that they were expecting, and on Tuesday, Paul shared adorable pictures of their new baby boy. Paul also revealed that he asked his good friend and Breaking Bad costar, Bryan Cranston, to be his son’s godfather.

“I know Bryan Cranston is a good friend of yours,” Fallon said. “Has he seen the baby yet?” “He has. He has met the baby,” Paul replied. “Ya know, I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather.” “I’m assuming…” Fallon began. “He said no,” Paul said, clearly joking. “No, he’s very excited, very honored. I love the man to death. He’s one of my best friends in the world, and, so yeah, it was just a no brainer.”

Paul also said his daughter, 4-year-old Story, adores her new baby brother.
