Abandoned Edinburgh restaurant replaced with 'authentic Neapolitan pizza joint'
A new authentic pizza joint has moved into an abandoned unit on a busy Edinburgh city centre street.
Fired Dough Pizzas has taken up residency at 151-153 Lothian Road, formerly Noodle 'N' Rice, and is serving up 'authentic Neapolitan pizza' from a traditional Italian oven.
The restaurant has indoor seating and is open daily from 5pm-10pm. Customers can also order to have food delivered straight to their door or collect in-store.

As well as pizzas, customers can choose from a variety of starters including bruschetta, calamari and chicken strips or enjoy a dessert as well as a glass of wine or cocktail to accompany the meal.
Taking to social media the team at Fired Dough introduced themselves to the capital, just minutes from Princes Street. They wrote: "Naples is coming to Edinburgh! We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of Fired Dough Pizzas at Lothian Road, your new favourite spot for authentic Neapolitan pizza!
