Abbey Clancy wants to hunt down the driver who killed her dog

In October this year we were all left saddened when Abbey Clancy revealed that her family’s lost dog had been found with serious injuries on the side of a road after being run over in a brutal hit and run incident.

The six-year-old Maltese/ Yorkshire terrier, Scamp, sadly died after a female passer-by found him and took him to a vet, who was forced to put him down due to the horrific injuries.

The driver who hit Scamp just drove off.

Now Abbey has spoken out about her feelings towards the driver, admitting that it “wouldn’t be pretty” if she were to ever meet them.

When asked what crime she would commit if she knew that she could get away with it, the 30-year-old model told Weekend magazine: “I’d track down the driver who left Scamp for dead.

Poor Scamp was left for dead.

“I’m not sure what I’d do, but it wouldn’t be pretty.”

Abbey, who is married to Stoke City footballer Peter Crouch, recently got a new pup called Bella, a Teacup Maltese terrier, and she admits that Bella has helped her come to terms with losing Scamp.

She added: “I was devastated, but having Bella has helped me get over it. She rules the roost at home.”

And we’re sure that poor Scamp wouldn’t have it any other way.
