Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has confirmed interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, but revealed if given a choice he would plump for a move to the Emirates.

The French midfielder has been the Hornets’ stand out performer in a mixed season, leading their scoring charts with seven as well as impressing with his transition play.

Off the back of such performances, the 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road come the end of the season, though Watford are reportedly keen to tie him down to a new deal.

Speaking on French television, Doucoure affirmed his commitment to his current club, though revealed he would snub Spurs and Liverpool in order to work with compatriot Arsene Wenger.

“It’s true that these clubs are interested,” he told Telefoot. “But I’m at Watford for the moment and I want to finish my season well.”

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have continued to tilt the power-shift in north London away from the Gunners this season.

However, when quizzed on which rival he’d like to join, Doucoure admitted he’d still prefer a move to the red half. "Arsenal, because of Arsene Wenger," he added.
