With 10 consecutive victories in the bag, Aberdeen are going for 11 in a row this weekend, and there's an extra prize up for grabs if they overcome Spartans at Pittodrie.

The Dons could return to Hampden for the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals with a victory against the League Two side - the lowest ranked team left in the competition.

Fans will be eager to see Jimmy Thelin and Co avoid a cup upset in the first ever meeting between the sides, and recent form suggests there will be little chance of that for the Reds.

They have coasted through to the last eight of the competition, with victory against Queen's Park earning the Dons' place in the quarters.

And if you can't make it to Pittodrie tomorrow there's great news for those eager to watch all the action at home. Aberdeen Live has all the details you need below.

When is Aberdeen v Spartans?

The Dons' game against the Spartans will take place on Saturday, September 21 at Pittodrie Stadium.

Kick-off against the League Two side - the lowest ranked side left in the competition - is at 5.30pm.

Who are the match officials?

This weekend will see two of the quarter-finals take place without the use of VAR, as competition rules stated non-televised games can opt for or against the technology.

Therefore there will be no VAR at Pittodrie on Saturday. Ross Hardie will be the referee, and the assistant officials are Frank Connor and Brian Christie.

Is there any team news?

While fans were delighted to see the return of Leighton Clarkson last weekend, they will have to wait a little longer to see Dante Polvara back in action as he continues his hamstring recovery.

Duk is back in training having been AWOL earlier this season, but it remains to be seen if he will be included in the matchday squad.

Otherwise it's as you were from the win over Motherwell, with goalscorer Pape Gueye involved again as he looks to build on his outstanding start to the season.
