Aberdeen's Hazlehead Park to host three-day electronic music festival next summer

Plans have been unveiled for a three-day Aberdeen festival offering up music, entertainment and family fun next summer.

The Granite City Festival Weekender will take place in Hazlehead Park from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29 next year, with a lineup catering to fans of house and techno, dance music as well as food stalls and funfair rides. The event will feature three stages and a VIP area with organisers expecting around 10,000 attendees.

The first two days of the event will run from 4pm to 11pm on Friday and 12pm to 11pm on Saturday and are for ticket holders over the age of 18 only. However, the Sunday is welcome to all ages and will run from 12pm to 10pm.

The Friday will see a lineup of house and techno artists organised by Cultivate. The second day of the festival is dedicated to the biggest dance anthems for the all-day event and will feature iconic tracks, and crowd-favourite remixes.

The final day of the event will feature a family festival with Good Times in partnership with GloWorm Festival. Ticket holders can expect performances suitable for all ages, interactive experiences, games, and plenty of food and drink options.
