Aberdeenshire road closed off after rush hour crash as emergency services rush to scene
An Aberdeenshire road has been closed in both directions following a two-car crash during rush hour this morning.
The incident happened at around 8am on Monday (January 20) on the A92 just north of Johnshaven. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly afterwards.
Officers from Police Scotland have confirmed the road is now closed in both directions following the crash. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

The full extent of any injuries after the incident is not currently know.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: "The A92 is closed in both directions north of Johnshaven following a two-car crash which was reported around 8am on Monday, 20 January, 2025.
"Emergency services are in attendance. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route."
