Aberdeenshire road reopens after one-car crash with two taken to hospital
An Aberdeenshire road has been reopened following a serious crash this afternoon after two people were taken to hospital in Dundee.
The one-car collision happened at around 12.20pm today (Thursday, January 16) on the B9120 Laurencekirk to Fettercairn.
Police Scotland has confirmed the road had been shut in both directions following the crash. All motorists were urged to travel via a different route to avoid major delays.

They later confirmed that the 24-year-old driver and a 37-year-old passenger were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment, with their injuries not thought to be life-threatening. The B9120 reopened at around 3.55pm.
A statement from police reads: "The B9120 Lawrencekirk to Fettercairn is now reopened. It was closed in both directions following a crash involving one car at 12.20pm on Thursday, 16 January, 2025.
"The 24-year-old driver and 37-year-old passenger were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
"Their injuries that are not thought to be life threatening. The B9120 re-opened at around 3.55pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
