Earlier this month at Whirlin' Waters Adventure Park, a wave pool in North Charleston, South Carolina, a little girl was struggling and a lifeguard sprung to action.

In a video of the rescue, people were swimming next to the girl, but don't appear to notice what's happening to her.

The video, posted by Lifeguard Rescue on YouTube, has clocked in more than a million views.
