Demonstrators supporting and opposing Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett marched on the Supreme Court in Washington as her confirmation hearings continued on October 13.
Video uploaded by The Womxn Project shows a line of people marching, chanting “Whose court? Our court" and “I dissent,” with some holding placards that read “No confirmation before inauguration" and “RBG.”
“The Womxn Project is in DC this morning to say no confirmation before inauguration. Our priorities are abortion access, disability justice and education equity. All rise to say protect our court!” the group said.
Supporters of Barrett were also present on Capitol Hill, with some chanting “fill that seat,” referring to the Supreme Court Justice nomination process. Credit: The Womxn Project via Storyful
