Have your say on when it's 'acceptable' to start your Christmas shopping
It seems to come around earlier every year. That's right, people are already talking about Christmas.
We might not have had Halloween, or arguably more important, Hull Fair, yet - but shops are already stocking festive goodies.
Hull residents have certainly been left divided over retailers stocking the likes of selection boxes and stocking fillers. While some think it's far to early, others wish it could be Christmas every day.

Some have expressed that it's financially more practical for shoppers to begin their shopping early. And one person recently took to social media to say: "It gives the chance for you to put away early cheap gifts for foodbanks and other charities. Like, children's one which have a big Christmas drive. There's benefits for sure."
So what do you think? Have you already made a start on your Christmas shopping? Or will you be braving the high street in December?
