Accountants in Grimsby and Louth launch charitable foundation in memory of firm partner who sadly died aged 40
A Grimsby accountancy firm has launched a charitable trust that will support local communities and carry forward the legacy of one of its partners who sadly died in 2022.
Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants is based on St Mary's Gate in Grimsby town centre, and has offices further afield in Louth, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Skegness and Beverley.
In August 2022, Lee Bradbury, the Partner and Chairman of the firm's Louth office, tragically died at the age of just 40.
Lee's colleagues have now launched The Bradbury Foundation, a charitable trust that will provide financial aid to local charities, not-for-profit organisations and community projects, sparking real and sustainable change in the area and paying tribute to Lee's memory and legacy.
Trustee and Chair at Forrester Boyd, Philip George, said: "We wanted to create a lasting legacy for Lee, and what better way to do so than by establishing a foundation in his memory that supports the local community. This foundation reflects Lee’s spirit and the positive impact he made.
"Lee’s dynamic personality, coupled with his professional excellence, left an indelible mark on colleagues, clients, and friends alike. The Bradbury Foundation now stands as a tribute to his memory, encapsulating his generous spirit and deep commitment to the community."
