Activists Demand Equality During International Women's Day March in Pristina

Activists gathered at Pristina, Kosovo’s Zahir Pajaziti Square on Sunday, March 8, dubbed International Women’s Day, to demand equality. The fifth annual event was organized by the Kosovo Women’s Network.

“On Sunday at 12:00 PM we will gather at ‘Zahir Pajaziti’ Square to march for social justice and gender equality, for a fair separation of the private and public sphere, for a dignified life without sexism, gender-based oppression, social and economic injustice. By marching we deny and oppose all forms of injustice used against women,” according to the Kosovo Women’s Network event page.
