Activists dressed as zombies protest 'apartheid-style' housing policies in Cape Town

Hundreds of activists dressed as zombies protest against 'apartheid-style' housing policies in Cape Town. The groups carried effigies of Mayor Dan Plato, Alderman JP Smith, Deputy Mayor Ian Neilson and former apartheid State President PW Botha. They also carried a coffin emblazoned with the National Party logo. The National Party was the ruling party of South Africa from 1948 to 1994 and legislated apartheid as a government policy. This footage was filmed on September 30.
