Activists Project Ukrainian Flag Onto Russian Embassy Building in DC

Protesters projected an image of the Ukrainian flag onto the facade of the Russian embassy in Washington, DC, on Wednesday night, April 13.

This video filmed by Joseph Landavaso shows an image of the flag created with theater stage lights being moved onto the facade of the building, on which another Ukrainian flag has already been projected.

A white spotlight appears on top of one of the flags, which the Washington Post suggested was beamed onto the building by Russian officials in an attempt to counter the pro-Ukrainian message. Credit: Joseph Landavaso via Storyful
