Actors' Strike Continues After Writers' Guild Reaches Deal
Members of the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) picketed outside Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, California, on Tuesday, September 26, as their strike entered its 75th day.
SAG-AFTRA still had no scheduled meetings with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, which represents studios, a union representative told Deadline. The two parties had not talked since the beginning of the strike, according to the New York Times.
The Writers Guild of America reached a tentative deal with studios on Sunday, and announced their 146-day strike would be over on Wednesday.
