Emily Ratajkowski has revealed why she didn’t invite Chrissy Teigen to her wedding.

The 26-year-old American model was called out on Twitter earlier this year after Teigen failed to receive an invite to her big day with Sebastian Bear-McClard.

Teigen tweeted: “I’m oddly mad I wasn’t invited to @emrata’s wedding even though we barely speak…like, I like all your photos and leave flames on some.”

Ratajkowski finally responded to Teigen’s tweet on Live With Kelly and Ryan.

She said: “I actually felt bad! I was like, ‘Oh my god, she’s calling me out’. But you know, a lot of people weren’t there.

“I do [know her], I don’t know that she would have been the first in a 10-person wedding that I would have invited…but I get it. I totally get it. She’s like number 12.”

Ratajkowski tied the knot with Bear-McClard at City Hall in New York in February.

The newlyweds invited four friends each and a couple of dogs to help celebrate their big day.

The news comes after Ratajkowski revealed that she “struggles” with her self-image, admitting that “every day is a different day”.

The 26-year-old stars in the new Amy Schumer film I Feel Pretty as Mallory, a pivotal character that Schumer’s Renee looks up to when she wakes up believing she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

But Ratajkowski opened up about her own self-image, admitting that she's not always confident in the way she looks.

She told USA TODAY: “Truth is, we're all completely struggling with our self-image and worrying about what people think of us. Every day is a different day for me.

“Some days, it's like I am the absolute best; I cannot believe I exist on this planet. Then other days, you really don't want to leave the house.”
