This might just be the most peculiar “feud” of the year and thankfully it’s all taking place on Twitter, so that we can follow it, or try to…
In the left corner we have Lord Alan Sugar, that bloke that likes to say: “YOU’RE FIRED!” a lot.
In the right corner we have Adam Woodyatt, that geezer who is arguably better known as the formerly floppy-haired Ian Beale.

Sugar undeniably started the war of the words when he took the first hit by tweeting Woodyatt: “I have been watching you. Regret to say you need to go on a better diet. You look like heart attack material. SORT IT!”
We already know that Al doesn’t mince his words but this totally came out of nowhere… and it didn’t stop there.
The Apprentice boss continued to address the actor: “In respect of your diet @AdamWoodyatt I hear when you start filming early there’s a smell of curry from your dressing room. Cut that out.”
He’s really just like a father figure, isn’t he?

The EastEnders star wasn’t the only person to feel the wrath of Lord Sugar’s tweets either, as he was quick to dismiss his comments as an innocent joke with a friend.
The 68-year old tweeted: “Shut up you idiots at the Sun .catch up ! this is a on going joke with a mate. ACE HOT reporters .Buy the Mirror. (sic)”
Sometimes we just wish that he would say what he really thought!
Not to worry, Adam proved that he could hold his own after Sugar posted a photo of an ultra-thin Piaget watch and he retorted: “Strap looks a bit tight @Lord_Sugar have you put some weight on?”
Ding ding, round 2!
All in the name of the bantz, yeah?
You can tune in for more of Lord Sugar’s infamously cutting remarks as the new series of The Apprentice kicks off on BBC One at 9pm.
