In case calling Simon Konecki her "husband" at the Grammys wasn't enough, Adele has now officially confirmed that she's married, using actual words.
During a concert in Brisbane this weeken, Adele was talking about how she played mega hit 'Someone Like You' to her friends and family when she dropped the M word, captured by a fan at the show.
"I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of someone or something. I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record," she explained.
"Because as bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth, and I am addicted to that feeling.
"Obviously I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person."
Adele first referred to Simon as her "husband" as she accepted Album of the Year at the Grammy awards last month, describing him and their son, Angelo, as "the only reason I do it".
Last year, she had quipped that the pair "might as well be married" as they've been together since 2011.
"I would tell you if I did. I wouldn't be able to contain myself. He simply hasn't proposed yet, so let's move on from that," Adele joked at a show in Minnesota.
