Adele dedicates concert to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

No, it wasn’t all a dream.

News that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt has by now reached all four corners of planet Earth and Adele is devastated.

The 28-year-old singer was left in utter shock when she woke up on a sunny Tuesday in New York, only to be told by her aids that her favourite showbiz marriage had crumbled.

It seems the star couldn’t shake the upset and got emotional singing her own songs during her Maddison Square Garden gig last night because a few ballads in, the Grammy-Award winner asked if she could “address the elephant in the room,” saying the news marks the “end of an era”.

The Hello hitmaker told the 20,000 strong crowd: “Brangelina have broken up. I mean, I don’t like gossiping and I think private lives should be private but I feel like it’s the end of an era.

We agree.

Adele forgot to mention the other elephants stomping around the room and wrecking our minds, like why are they really getting divorced, how is Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston celebrating, and did Brad fall in love with his sexy co-star Marion Cotillard on the set of Allied?

A source told New York’s Page Six Angelina discovered they were having an affair through a Private Investigator she hired.

The insider revealed: “She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw.”

What we do know is that Angelina is fighting for physical custody of their six children and is asking the judge to give Brad visitation rights only, which all seems very strange.

Maybe it was a hot-headed and snap decision by Angelina, but we doubt they could reverse the tide of change now even if they wanted to.
