Adele‘s ex-husband Simon Konecki has reportedly “resigned” himself to the star writing about their divorce her latest album 30.

Reports suggest the charity boss has accepted that Adele, 33, “wears her heart on her sleeve” and writes about her private life in her work.

A source told The Mirror: “Simon likes to be under the radar. He doesn’t attend big glamorous Hollywood events. He certainly doesn’t discuss his marriage at all with people.

“He has had to resign himself to the fact that she would talk. He knew the risks going in. This is the type of artist she is, she wears her heart on her sleeve.”

The couple announced their split in 2019. They met in 2011 and share one son - Angelo - who is nine.

The source said the couple will always do what is best for their son.

“They’ve been adamant any personal tension should never come ahead of what’s best for Angelo,” they said.

Adele’s representatives have been contact for comment.

On Friday, Adele thanked fans for the “ride” following the release of 30.

Her fourth studio album launched on Friday to widespread critical acclaim.

Celebrating her initial success, Adele shared a photo on Twitter showing her in the recording studio with her hands thrown up in the air.

The image, which showed the singer sat next to a glass of white wine, was captioned: “It was a ride, so I threw my arms up and screamed! Love you all.”

Adele wore a black turtleneck and gold hoop earrings, with her nails painted black and her strawberry blonde hair tied back in a ponytail.

The post attracted more than 750,000 likes in half and hour, with fans describing her in the comments section as a “queen” and “inspiration”.

Tracks including My Little Love, Oh My God, I Drink Wine and Hold On have been praised by fans and critics for their vulnerability and old-fashioned sound recalling the golden age of Hollywood.

The album details the breakdown of her marriage to charity boss to Konecki.

Sunday will see ITV broadcast a special concert special filmed at the London Palladium, titled An Audience With Adele.
