Adele fans have been bidding on “legit” bags of air from her concerts.

Listings for air sealed in plastic bags have popped up on eBay following her Australian concerts.

One seller, who has 100 per cent positive feedback on the online auction site, listed an air filled bag from the singer’s Adelaide gig on March 13.

Describing the item, they wrote: “Get some Adele history any fan must have this. Get in quick this time!! You are bidding on a coles bag the air inside is a bonus for the buyer (sic).”

They claimed the item reached almost $2500 (£1500) before it was removed by the site.

But the seller has listed it for a second time under the title: “The Original legit Adele live air bag (eBay removed my original listing).”

The current bid stands at $15.50 (£9.50).

Other listings have popped up claiming to be offering air from Adele’s gigs in Melbourne and Sydney, with bids ranging from ($5.75 to $100).

The Hello singer recently wrapped up the Australian leg of her world tour in support of her third album, 25.

The gigs have seen her welcome a drag queen on stage, witness a proposal and shout at a security guard for telling fans to sit down.

It was also revealed that Adele was being wheeled into place in a box ahead of her concerts in a bid to conceal herself from fans.

A source told The Sun: “Adele sits in the box for several minutes as she is taken from her dressing room right to the centre of the crowd.

“Most of her fans are already seated and just presume it's a piece of kit they are moving, but some have been told by staff at venues that actually it's their idol and a woman worth £85million sitting in a pretty small box a few feet from them.”
