Adele reveals fourth album will be released in September
Adele has told family and friends that her new album is set for release in September 2020.
The 31-year-old singer was performing at the wedding of former Maccabees star Hugo White when she dropped the announcement on stage.
Adele, who has had a whirlwind year in which she filed for divorce from husband Simon Konecki and shocked fans with a reported seven stone weight loss, last released an album in 2015, the award-winning 25.
Mother-of-one Adele wore a floral Oscar de la Renta skirt paired with a cream top and nude pumps as she officiated the wedding between White and his author wife Laura Dockrill.
The celebrations continued at the Mason's Arms pub in Battersea, southwest London, and the singer reportedly took to the stage to belt out hit track Rolling In The Deep and Candi Staton's Young Hearts Run Free.
In video shared online, she could be heard telling revellers at the end of her set: “Expect my album in September.”
Adele was joined by the likes of Florence Welch and Jessie Ware at the nuptials, which also saw Adele sing along to Spice Up Your Life and Beyonce's Crazy In Love.

The acclaimed singer most recently attended Beyoncé and Jay-Z's post-Oscars party at the Beverly Hills' Chateau Marmont, where she was photographed wearing a jaw-dropping sequin leopard-print dress.
“She looked like herself but also so different — beautiful but almost unrecognisable,” a source told People magazine.
Showing off her stunning weight loss, which has been credited to a strict diet and fitness routine that includes pilates, she was later seen wearing a sleek black workout outfit out and about in Los Angeles.
