Adele served as the officiant at her friend Laura Dockrill's wedding to The Mackabees musician Hugo White at the Mason Arms pub in London on Saturday. E! News reports that Adele also later performed at the wedding; she sang her breakout hit "Rolling the Deep," and the Spice Girls' "Spice Up Your Life."

Guests captured videos of the event, which Dockrill shared on her Instagram story. One video shows Dockrill, who wore a long floral dress and Adele, who wore a floral maxi skirt and cream short-sleeved turtleneck with gold hoop earrings, singing onstage together.

"The way you grab that mic @lauraleedockrill what a moment @adele," the friend who took the video wrote.

Dockrill, an author and poet, and Adele grew up together and have been friends since they were kids. The song "My Same," which Adele wrote for her album 19, is about Dockrill. Adele also wrote about Dockrill on her Instagram in August 2018, when she shared her friend's story of postpartum depression. Adele has also shared her own story of postpartum depression after giving birth to her son, Angelo.

"This is my best friend," she wrote then. "We have been friends for more of our lives than we haven’t. She had my beautiful godson 6 months ago and it was the biggest challenge of her life in more ways than one. She has written the most intimate, witty, heartbreaking and articulate piece about her experience of becoming a new mum and being diagnosed with postpartum psychosis. Mamas talk about how you’re feeling because in some cases it could save yours or someone else’s life x Link in my bio to Laura’s story."

She linked to Dockrill's piece, where she shared her experience with depression after the birth of her son.
