Adidas is launching a line of Baby Yoda-themed trainers in celebration of the second season of Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian.

The eight trainers, all of which have been imagined in Baby Yoda's green, beige and brown shades, will launch on Saturday (October 31) after the season launches on Disney+ this Friday.

All of the trainers have Star Wars-themed soles, with some of them even boasting Baby Yoda himself on the base of the shoe.

Last year Adidas launched a Game of Thrones-inspired version of its Ultraboost trainer ahead of the show's final series, and in 2014, the brand released a collaboration with American animation American Dad.

The Mandalorian launched on Disney+ in November last year and is where Baby Yoda - or "The Child" was conceived, which became a cult character. Such was the outpouring of love for Baby Yoda that scientists even waded into dissect why the little guy was so cute. Clinical psychologist Joshua Klapow told Bustle: "The Baby Yoda-like creature is not of our species but it is small, has large eyes, looks to be innocent, and looks to be young.

"We can’t help ourselves — we are going to have our nurturing instinct triggered and most of us will find this creature quite cute."

Adidas' Baby Yoda-themed trainers will launch online on November 1. Prices start from £69.95.
