Adorable giant panda twins have been named after reaching 100 days old.

Three-month-old Bao Di and Bao Mei were born back in August at a zoo in Belgium to mother Hao Hao.

Bao Di, a male, and Bao Mei, a female, were shown off by handlers at the Pairi Daiza zoo in Brugelette.

It is considered bad luck to new name new born pandas until they reach 100 days old, and the names were chosen by an online poll.

When the pair were born in early August, Eric Domb, the president and founder of Pairi Daiza, said: “This double birth is wonderful news for this extraordinary species that is still threatened today.”

At birth, Bao Di weighed 160g and Bao Mei tipped the scales at 150g.

According to the World Wildlife Fund, baby pandas are 1/900th the size of their mother.
